Momix Botanica Musical / play Live at Merrill Auditorium | Portland – April 08th, 2027

Merrill Auditorium in Portland is one of those places that just feels special the moment you step inside, with its stunning chandeliers hanging overhead and that old-world charm mixed with a lively, welcoming vibe. It’s not just a concert hall but a hub for community moments, like when the Maine Music Festival gives local artists a stage to shine or when the auditorium hosts events like the Maine STEM Fair that inspire young minds. I mean, in 2018, they even threw a big bash celebrating Bernstein’s 100th birthday right here, which was pretty incredible to witness. The top balcony is a hidden gem, less crowded, more laid-back, ideal for catching a show without feeling overwhelmed, and the top tier often draws a diverse crowd, perfect for some pre or post-show mingling. Navigating to Momix Botanica Portland’s event at Merrill is easy, just look for the big sign on the main road if you're coming from the west, and a heads up, street parking can be a bit tricky, so check the signs nearby. Honestly, there’s something about this place that makes every visit feel a little more memorable, whether you're there for a concert, a festival, or just soaking in the history.
